You need to arrive at the drop zone to check-in at the time of your booking - there is no need to arrive any earlier, but definitely don't arrive late. However, if you're skydiving in a central or busy location, please allow more time for parking and traffic. Double check your email confirmation for booking time, or get in touch with us to confirm.

For your first time skydiving, you’ll be paired with a tandem skydiving instructor. To become a skydiving instructor you need to be a member of the USPA and log 500 jumps and 3 hours of freefall, MINIMUM. To put that in perspective, the instructors at Piedmont Skydiving have made an average of 5,000 jumps each. That’s 10x more than the minimum!

No, but photos and video can be purchased under 'Extras' online, or at the drop zone on the day. Once purchased, your photos and videos will be emailed straight to your inbox on the same day as your skydive. Trust us, you will want to share this with the whole world!

When booking your tandem, look out for the following opportunities to save some money:

For the check-in, you will need to sign your waiver and choose any video or photo packages you want to add to your trip. If you still need to pay, this is the time when you would pay for your jump and any add-ons.

Call your skydiving company and tell them that you are not sure if you are brave enough to jump. Once you arrive at the dropzone tell your tandem instructor that you just want to get on the plane with the other people to see how it feels like. Your tandem instructor will understand you and will not force you to jump.
